Did you know that NARS has been collaborating with Phillip Lim for over 14 years? The iconic makeup brand is responsible for all the amazing looks we’ve seen on the runway since 2007 – so why not indulge in the Fall 2014 nail polish collection? Inspired by the colours you see in the shadows, macabre and glamour are the two words that come to mind when describing the collection. And the best part? I’ve got two shades from the exclusive collection in my bathroom.
Anarchy, the perfect quasi-yellow nude and Gold Viper – it’s described as champagne but it’s so much more. The polishes go on smooth and the french brush shaped like a natural cuticle makes it really easy to apply, even for people like me, with two left hands. Word to the wise: use NARS top coat with these polishes.
I paired the two colours by using the age-old blogger trick: paint the ring fingers an accent colour. And breakfast isn’t breakfast without NARS lipgloss in Jungle Red. I just discovered it and just might make it my go-to shade (even if I sleep clutching my Belle de Jour lipstick, and have two tubes of it at any given time because I one is not enough for the way I abuse it).
