My Style | Coal Harbour Day

My Style | Coal Harbour Day

It’s my very first time visiting the West Coast of Canada. I’ve already spent a week of yoga-ing, sea air, beautiful sunsets, for REAL sashimi albacore tuna and can’t get enough. Doesn’t help that Toronto is currently engulfed in snow and ice; I can hear the Twitter cries all the way from here as the temperature plummets. I feel for you guys, honestly, you’re on my mind every time I slide into my loafers with no socks.

This weekend we took advantage of the sunshine and toured downtown Vancouver. Hermes, Louis Vuitton and Cactus Club with some of the Kenton Magazine crew. I ended up finally purchasing a Louis Vuitton change purse to replace my old one. I think people were embarrassed to be seen with me every time I pulled out the what-was-once-pink Louis Vuitton change purse I bought myself in *gulp* high school. Seriously, I think my boyfriend just started to pick up the tab for even the silliest of purchases just so he wouldn’t have to see it. On second thought, maybe replacing it wasn’t the shrewdest of decisions… even though it was definitely the most stylish of decisions. And in case you’re wondering, I’m a classic monogram kind of chick. No Damier here, but I’d go for a good Epi leather now and then.

And don’t be fooled by the oversized Zara knit sweater I’m sporting in the photos – it was all for the look and less for the warmth. Although, once I get back to Toronto I’m sure I’ll be sleeping in it clenching a hot water bottle underneath each armpit. For now, viva la West Coast winter or lack thereof!

After reading your anti black Friday article, I’m trolling your blog posts on my lunch hour instead of trolling sales. I love your writing style! After checking out both Coal Harbour posts, I’d say (while your style is great in both) I think I like Part 1 better! I love the darker hair too!

Welcome to the dark side! Aw you’re so funny. I’m glad you’re not doing the sales and reading my site instead! I liked Part 1 better too. Last year my style was not as defined, I went through a confused period. Two years ago was better. But I’m leaving for Vancouver on Dec 25th and will be taking those Coal Harbour shots again – stay tuned. Happy Holidays!!!! xoxoxo
