Last week I had the great pleasure of hosting the grand re-opening of Marciano at Yorkdale Mall. For those of you who attended, you’ll know it was quite a fun evening of shopping, eating and sipping wine. My favourite part was the Fashion Magazine photo booth that printed out your picture on a faux cover of Fashion. Needless to say, I spent most of my night coercing guests into taking their picture with me. Sorry guys!
I met so many fabulous people that evening – two sisters shopping for a wedding outfit; a group of girlfriends browsing for new Fall arrivals; a fabulous lady in 9-inch heels who has been a loyal Marciano client since forever. I also met a fiction writer, a fashion editor, a model and even saw a few old friends who showed up to party avec moi. The Marciano staff made me feel so welcome in their space – we had a blast together!
Shoppers enjoyed complimentary lashes by Winks, Bottle Green water and sip-sippin on Girls Night Out wine; while I sashayed around the store in a beautiful mini leather skirt with extra-long fringe. Most of you know Marciano for dresses and evening-type wear but there’s much more in store than meets the eye. Like my skirt, for starters. And the matching fringe leather jacket. In fact, the leather outerwear at Marciano is definitely something to check out. #ThankMeLater
