How to Finally Snag Your Crush This Valentine’s Day

How to Finally Snag Your Crush This Valentine’s Day

There’s nothing like a cheesy 90s R&B song to get the baby-making juices flowing this time of year. I’m talking Room 112, where the players dwell and gettin’ so high with Toni Braxton like a Spanish guitar. Or for those of you who are still secretly admiring/Facebook stalking your crush, try passive aggressively posting either of the following two songs to their wall at exactly 11:59pm on February 13th: Don’t Let Go by En Vogue and/or Unthinkable (aka I’m ready) by Alicia Keys feat. Drake. I mean, those are the two songs I’ve always gravitated towards when my love has been unrequited.

What I’m really trying to say is that music, like fashion, is sometimes the best outward expression of our deepest most inner feelings. Say it with a song, they say – I say, “say it with a sweater.” Ever notice that when you live with someone you start to dress the same? Unwittingly, too. We all have someone to dress for whether we like to admit it or not. You see, my boyfriend and I, we dress for each other. We picked these outfits for the #SpreadLeLove campaign at Le Château, independently, and walked out of the change room in matching black and white stripes. That’s how you know it’s true love, when your copy each other’s outfits without even trying. NB: This is particularly annoying when it happens with you and your best friend, at prom; true story.

How will you #SpreadLeLove this Valentine’s Day? Will you dropbox your loved one Peaches & Cream or buy each other matching sweaters?
