How to Get Terrific Skin Right Now

How to Get Terrific Skin Right Now

Yes, as I write this blog post I have a zit the size of Mount Everest hanging out on my cheek right now. The Origins® Skincare‎ GinZing face mask could not have arrived soon enough, needless to say. If you, like me, typically break out when the weather starts to change – I blame scarves and too many sugary lattes – you might want to try two yummy face treatments from Origins® Skincare‎: GinZing Peel-Off Masque and Original Skin, Retexturizing Masque with Rose Clay, available now at Sephora.ca! You can literally fill your shopping cart as you watch me use it:

I have to admit, the more I use the GinZing masque, the more I get used to the tingly feeling of peeling it off my face. It’s strangely satisfying, especially with the aforementioned breakout, I feel like it’s taking all my blackheads and oil with it. Now, my skin is typically dry so I highly recommend moisturizing immediately after using the masque just to restore the glow – it is completely mattifying and leaves a pearly finish. If you have oily skin, however, I think this masque will be your new best friend this Fall.

The GinZing masque makes your skin feel totally refreshed and refined. Derived from natural and organic plant ingredients like coffee beans and panax ginseng. It certainly lifts dull, dead skin and debris – it’s perfect for those days when you feel like you just want to scrub the first layer of your skin off (we all have those days, right?). This masque is a secret weapon for any girl who has ever felt like a big bag of grease after eating pizza for dinner but still wants her face to be as fresh as cucumber water after pilates. #TheStruggleIsReal.

Another environmentally safe masque from Origins® Skincare‎ that will give you seriously terrific skin as the weather starts to change – and perfect for multi-masking – is the Rose Clay masque, made with Canadian willow herb, a powerful anti-inflammatory. Word of wisdom, use a thin layer, as it takes a very long time to wash off. But once you wash it off, your skin will feel like a baby’s bottom. I was so giddy when I touched my cheeks afterwards – they were so smooth!! The best part? It makes for the perfect base upon which to apply makeup. This masque is essential when you’re getting ready for a big event and need to have your best face ever.

And isn’t that what we all want, our best face ever?

Tell me how you plan on cocktailing your Origins® Skincare‎ masques – I can’t wait to try the other masques in the line like the By All Greens cleansing masque and Clear Improvements detoxifying masque. Which will you try? Leave a comment below and let’s make plans for better skin this winter.

I love the Rose Clay mask the most out of all of them. The GinZing one is definitely good to clean out blackheads and stuff like that, but it can be a bit drying if you already have dry skin. I suggest doing the GinZing one first, finishing with the Rose Clay – now that is just a perfect duo. Lemme know how it goes! xoxo J
