When faced with the challenge: can you dress like an ice cream cone? I say yes. Yes, I can. Now, please don’t ask me who proposed this test of style aptitude just know that I am rising to the occasion, one vanilla mint chocolate shade at a time.

It’s better that way, as Victoria’s makes me think of a melting ice cream cone in the most obscure conjugation. What I love about the resulting inspiration is a mood that is both underexposed and bright – pastel, yet anything but soft. It’s full of juxtapositions kind of like the muted brightness of a summer sky seen through rose gold lenses.
