Just want to take a minute to say I am loving the new direction of Gucci (partially because I have 5 Gucci bags, 2 shoes and a slew of accessories that need to go up in value) and partially because it’s just so fresh. Alessandro Michele has captured the zeitgeist of the 70s revival and smeared it across handbags, stitched inside the soles of Gucci’s must-have furry mules and quickly using it to erase all of Frida’s sins. If this picture doesn’t capture the new Gucci – I don’t know what does! Bravo, Michele. Era ora!
