This season it’s all about fur – OK, so was last season. The only difference being last season the fur was long and shaggy and this year it’s been groomed. Short furry fur is all I’m seeing on the Fall/Winter 2014 runways like a poodle fresh from the spa in cropped jackets, long coats, wraps, and trims. And sometimes, like in the case of Altuzarra, a shearling.
Inspired by Patagonia jackets minus the sport, these warm shearlings with painted leather pockets are all I need to get by in life. I wouldn’t change a thing, Joe, I’d wear them just so: evening gown, utility boots and a slicked back bun.
