My Style | Whistler Wonderland

My first time on the west coast, a mandatory trip to Whistler was in order. Although, I must admit, the only kind of skiing I like to do is the après kind.

The drive up to Whistler on the Sea to Sky Highway was like reliving the Twilight Saga, Edward Cullen by my side. Second to him, fjords are nature’s most beautiful phenomena – and you get to look at them for hours as you drive along a mountain’s edge. We paired this view with Radio One’s Essential Mix featuring Disclosure. It’s pretty much essential.

After shopping and shooting around Whistler Village, Alex and I checked into the Scandinave Spa. If you can believe it, we actually spent 2.5 hours without our iPhones and in complete silence, save for a few hand signals like, let’s go to the Finnish sauna and OMFG this 10 degree water just took my firstborn. When it was all said and done, chilling by the fire with a hot tea, I felt fresh with a capital F.
