How to Create A Meditation Space with StickerYou

How to Create A Meditation Space with StickerYou

Last month I had a lot of heavy things happen to me. I took a break from social media and found a mindful practise that I’ve been following, religiously, every single day since. What can I say? Things have been MUCH lighter. More manageable. And when challenges do come my way, I’m learning to LEARN from them. All of this is a daily practise. So, I’m taking it day by day.

To deepen my commitment to mindful living, I partnered with StickerYou to help me create a little area in my apartment called my mediation space. StickerYou is great for these types of DIY projects. I chose a few of their ready-made Buddha and Namaste graphics, and created a few of my own. I love that they offer the option to customize literally anything you want, at an affordable price, too.

For my meditation space, I created a vinyl, mantra decal to place on the window where I peer out into the world during my morning meditations. I wanted a quote that would be powerful, and simple. I decided to write: Choose Love. Because, everything flows from love and when we choose to see love instead of fear, we witness a miracle. The window decal is easy to apply – just add a small amount of water to the back of the sticker and use a credit card to flatten out any air bubbles. You can Google how to do it if you need more help.

I then chose some vinyl and some window clings (which use static to stick to the window) to make up my smaller graphics. I’ve got a few Buddhas, a few Namaste signs, and some stars, which are always guiding me. I can switch them up, take them down, move them around – I love that element of play that the window clings afford me. Depending on what I need that day in my headspace, I can customize my window design at any time.

Lastly, I ordered a bunch of stickers to decorate my journal. I even added a little letter J to some of them, for that personal touch. OK, I may have printed out a few of my Jetset Justine logo as well. You never know when you’re going to need a visual reminder of your dreams.

In the spirit of new beginnings and following your dreams, I’ve partnered with StickerYou to give my readers the chance to get 25% off your order until March 31, 2017. Ah thanks babe! I love books about mindfulness. I’m currently reading May Cause Miracles by Gabby Bernstein. Have you ever done her miracle course?

No, but I’ve now added it to my “must read” list!
