Most of you know the birthplace of my eurotrash style. Florence, 2004. In my creation story, a Mickey Mouse t-shirt figures prominently. What most of you don’t know is that Liu Jo was one of the first brands to work with Disney on the now-ubiquitous Mickey Mouse tee. And I obviously splurged on one of these tees when I was in Rome many years ago; worn it to the death, ever since.
Flash forward about a decade to 2014. The Italian brand I’ve loved for so long is finally FINALLY coming to Canada. Liu Jo Jeans and Les Plumes ultra down jackets will be available to Canadians this fall. I cannot express my delight in words, so instead, I grabbed a camera and my Liu Jo Mickey Mouse t-shirt, styling it with ripped jeans and chucks – no makeup.
