My Style | Nasty Gal x Sauvage Part III

The minute I put this dress on I was like, sneakers. The more unrealistic an outfit, the better. I think I speak for everyone when I say that the polar vortex has made pragmatists out of all of us. Style? That is the last thing on my list when I get dressed nowadays and usually comes in the form of a large scarf wrapped around my face like a body cast. Besides, who needs eyes.

Shooting indoors is a horse of a different colour. This sheer panelled Nasty Gal collection dress (now available at Sauvage; 644 Queen St. West) could also benefit from a pair of ankle boots, with a nice thick heel-cum-ice-pick to navigate snowbanks and press the crosswalk button. Something that is becoming increasingly difficult these days.

But as the many fashion darlings proved in New York City (including Anna dello Russo practically streaking in Prada) – weather permitting is not in the fashion vernacular. I mean, car service and stuffing your bra with hot paws (did I just say that?) certainly helps. Nonetheless, I challenge all of you – including myself – to rise above the weather and stay inside. Duh.
