What’s Your #TorontoStyle ?

What a year this has been, and all the while I’ve been working behind-the-scenes with CF Toronto Eaton Centre to bring to you their incredible #TorontoStyle campaign. I am so so so honored to be part of this amazing initiative because ever since moving downtown with my boyfriend, Alexander Liang, CF Toronto Eaton Centre has been my go-to shopping mall for everything from planning outfits for New York Fashion Week, to getting last minute items for press trips and travels – I even do all my birthday and holiday shopping there.

Just last night I spent a lovely evening shopping at BCBGMAXAZRIA with my sister, helping her find a dress for a wedding, and later I treated her to a pair of Stan Smiths at Little Burgundy for her (belated) birthday gift. We finished up the evening having dinner at Mercatto – an amazing Italian restaurant tucked right beside the new Nordstrom (opening Sept 16!).

Toronto Eaton Centre is literally an integral part of my everyday life, and to be able to work with them to bring you guys style tips, fashion and retail news, and just everything that I experience as a writer, blogger, travel junkie, is my dream come true. This video basically sums up how I love to live my life here in the city where I was born and raised; the city that has helped me hone my true #TorontoStyle, my always fashionable and “a little bit cozy” city. I love Toronto so much (duh, if you know me, you know that I do) and I love having a shopping mall like CF Toronto Eaton Centre just a few blocks away from my condo.

I mean, some of the sales associates at the retailers like UNOde50, Saks Fifth Avenue, Ever New and Zara actually know me by name. LOL, they say you should be embarrassed when people start to know you by name because you shop there so much (too much??), but personally, I kinda like it. I love frequenting the same places; I’m a total creature of habit. I think it’s kinda nice to know that every time I walk into CF Toronto Eaton Centre, it sorta feels like home.

I hope you guys enjoy the video and leave me a comment below answering the following question (because I’m super curious): WHAT’S YOUR TORONTO STYLE??

Love the video. You spoke elegantly! I tend to frequent the same shops too but occasionally I’ll pop my head into other stores to see if they can measure up. I love that those stores know your name :)

Awesome video!! I would say my style is very broad especially in Toronto where the weather goes from too hot to too cold! My Toronto style would lean towards classic pieces with some kind of twist!
