My Style | Military Space Age

Show some shoulder as temperatures plummet knowing full well that it’s probably warmer on Pluto than it is on Queen West during the winter. What I’ve done here is surreptitiously layered two outerwear-looking pieces to give the effect that I’m indeed, wearing a coat on top of a coat. Well, I’m not. In reality, I’ve taken a silk Noemi jacket from Plenty, added a fur collar to it, and then let a baby alpaca trench coat fly at half-mast around my shoulders. This look is perfect for when your underneath outfit is SO on point that you can’t hide it from anyone, not even Jack Frost.

Since we’re on the subject of being oh-so-conspicuous I did what no woman would do – I paired Big Blue Jett Moto jeans with silver sandals and black socks. This was definitely a situation wherein faced with the dilemma of what shoes to wear, yet again, I lost a bit of oxygen to the brain. That’s really the only way I can logically explain my footwear choice here. But I wholeheartedly encourage anyone who wants to partake in an identical lapse in judgment and morality.

If you’re going down the metallic road, for Jesus, Mary and Joseph’s sake, make sure all your accessories boast the same intergalactic provenance.
