The eternal glamour of an equestrian beauty may have this city girl think twice about her disdain for horses – sorry, I didn’t grow up in jodhpurs, I grew up with the RCMP shitting in the streets of downtown Toronto. The diaphanous blouses, and tunics in the Pantone colour of the year, Marsala, brings out the natural beauty the 70s era was so famous for. It’s no wonder fashion keeps resurrecting the 70s by means of hoop earrings, high-waisted flares and blonde waves. Or in this case, saddle bags, total denim, and metal framed oversized sunglasses.
Chloé certainly sprinkles some prairie girl vibes in the midst of all the Farrah Fawcett-ing, which is something perhaps we should all consider when planning our outfits for summer (or spring break for those who can afford Pearson airport taxes). Add a little Anne of Green Gables, a little raspberry cordial, by means of eyelet and voile, into your next hot weather outfit and as per usual, thank me later.
