Lunar rubber has revolutionized the sneaker. It’s bouncy, supportive and super lightweight. This week I was invited to try the new Nike Lunar Cross Element trainer putting it (and myself) to the test with Nike Master Trainer, Eva Redpath. We’ve been taking classes with our fearless drill sergeant at the NTC Pop-up at 548 Richmond St W. Basically, Nike has transformed this gorgeous brownstone into a workout studio, juice bar, and bra-fitting salon. Women can come get their ladies fitted into the new Nike Pro Bra and do classes with #NTC trainers. You’d be surprised what the right shoe, and the right bra, can do for your workout.
Classes run until July 31. Monday – Friday 11am – 8pm (NTC class at 6:30pm); Saturday – Sunday 8am – 6pm (NTC class at 9am and 4:30pm).

Getting briefed before “Boot Camp” begins. (Waivers have been signed) – kidding!
Eva Redpath demonstrating the day’s “holding pattern” AKA what you do when you feel like death is nigh.
First few drills underway.
When Eva Redpath says jump, you’d better jump high!
Time for Sasha Exeter and myself to use each other as human jungle gyms.
High fives for not killing each other, yet.
I like to call this move, The Jersey Shore Fist Pump.
Yup, death is nigh. Cue the holding pattern!
Tug o’ War!
Showing my teeth. Grrrrr!
