My Style | Plaid in the PATH

My Style | Plaid in the PATH

Ask anyone who has never been to Toronto what we are most famous for (other than our mayor) and they will undoubtedly say: the underground city. Now this ain’t no Atlantis. We’re talking a living, breathing, thriving labyrinth of dentists, Rexalls, gyms, LCBOs, nail salons, banks, hair salons, dry cleaners, grocery stores, bookstores, designer retailers, doctors, plastic surgeons, juice bars and restaurants peppered with Starbucks. It’s called the PATH and you could literally survive an entire year down there without ever having to come up to the surface for air. (NB: Possible story if things ever get really bleak and sell it to The Sun newspaper.)

Opening soon on the underground PATH? Nadège pastry heaven and Greenhouse Juice Co. Two of my personal favourite things – macarons and cold-pressed juice – but then again, I wouldn’t be a blogger if not.

Just before I submerge myself at the First Canadian Place entry point, I snap a few pics to document that I am alive and well. My outfit is heavy on the navy and I complimented my oversized turtleneck with a plaid shirt underneath. I love the way a turtleneck looks layered over a collar – if you can get the right proportions, you’re golden. And who doesn’t love a pair of crips, white sneakers? Wear them now while you still can!!!!! The slush is nigh! But luckily we can escape to the PATH, white shoes in hand, unscathed.
