As summer slowly (painstakingly) approaches, it’s time for the narcissists to decide what their summer wardrobe palette will be. I’ve set up a rolling rack in the spare bedroom where I’ve begun to hang only the clothing that meets the strictest of criteria. Thus far I have a plethora of blue and white rompers, dresses and one kimono. I’ve added flared jeans, a pair of boyfriend jeans in faded denim and a pair of high waisted denim shorts. A few interesting tank tops (which it has yet to be warm enough to bust out). A grey tunic and a pair of patterned palazzo pants, which don’t exactly fit the above specifications, however I’ve thrown them in as a bit of a “wild card” for those days I’m feeling funky, or in a funk, whatever! I also have to admit, I’ve hung a pair of army green moto jeans on the rolling rack. Why? Because they’re brand new and I’m fickle. Isn’t it true that the first wear is always the best wear?
A question for narcissists only: What is your summer palette? I’ve asked some of you on Instagram earlier and I’ve received the following replies: denim, black + white, nude, maxi dresses and hints of forest green. How bout you leave your 2 cents in the comment section and I’ll let you know if I agree with your life choices or not. xo
