Soleil Cashmere sweater // Forever 21 bikini bottoms
Considering the subpar summer we’ve been having it seems that the luxury fabric, cashmere, has become a perennial wardrobe staple. And as much as we Torontonians love complaining about the lack of sunshine, us disciples of style are secretly thankful for summer cashmere weather. This is true especially at the beach, at sunset.
As you all know, cashmere is a type of wool that is the softest thing you’ll ever put beside your skin, and it keeps you warm unlike any other textile out there. Most people associate cashmere with winter – I like to think of cashmere like all-season tires. In fact, I even brought some cashmere with me to Florida! I know, you are all thinking I’ve lost my marbles but I assure you (I never had them to begin with!) and that between the wicked air conditioning on airplanes and inside shopping malls, and that rare post-sun-shower crispness in the air, I was pretty thankful for my cashmere sweater. Besides, I’ve been dying for the perfect climate conditions to do the whole editorial look of wearing my Soleil Cashmere sweater with bikini bottoms.
