This holiday season, NARS has enlisted legendary fashion photographer, Steven Klein, as well as art director, Fabion Baron, to bring us a makeup collection like no other. It’s all about mixing fantasy with wearability – and pushing both of those to their extreme limits. Exhibit A: white and red dual intensity blush.
If you’re a NARSissist like me, you’ve probably already made a list of all the things you want from this collection. My top faves? The limited edition Killer Shine lipsticks. They are creamy and gleamy, in the perfect shades for fall as we saw on the runways and beauty blogs: Nude and Plum. (They have matching lip glosses, too). The lipstick colour names are: Redemption (metallic pink champagne); Besame Mucho (deep rose-beige) and No Shame (red plum).
I’m also obsessed with the Tearjerker Eye Set. For me, it’s all about a good lip colour, big lashes, highlighter and bronzer. Those are my beauty staples. If you haven’t tried NARS Audacious Mascara yet, this set is the perfect starter kit (but don’t blame me if you get addicted). I’m a fan of very few mascaras as I’m super particular about my lashes – I think I can count the ones I really love and buy over and over again on one hand. NARS Audacious Mascara is one of them. My favourite thing about it is the plastic applicator. It significantly reduces clumping – if not eliminates it! It’s always a clean application and my lashes get separated and coated evenly. It’s definitely a great mascara if you want dramatic and borderline perfect lashes.

Mmm- love me some Nars. I have a deep berry meets cherry colored lipstick from them that makes me feel like I can take on the world when I walk out the door! Also love the snapping sounds their lipsticks make when you shut them. #TheLittleThings
HAHA. Isn’t it crazy how a lipstick can do that? I don’t think any other makeup item has ever been able to give me power like a lipstick. Bronzer gives me cheekbones, but my nude lipstick gives me enough bitch-sass to last the entire day.
